IntellTech stands out in a study that analyzed 100 global companies that offer solutions for dam monitoring.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀On October 10, 2020, was held the Global ROAR 1010 2020, an interactive global show that brings together leading innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and operators in the resource sector to enhance the industry’s capacity and understanding in remote operations, automation, and robotics to meet industry 6.0.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Amira organizes the eventan independent global not-for-profit organization representing members of the Resources Industry seeking to enhance, sustain, and deliver research and transformational development, innovation, and implementation to benefit society.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀One of the presentations was performed by Luciano Oliveira, Director of Innovation at the Stratalis Group. Stratalis is a Global Strategy and Innovation Consultancy specialized in assisting the senior executive of leading organizations in focusing on the future, overcoming strategic and operational challenges and outperform their peers, especially in uncertain markets.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The presentation, entitled The Future of Tailings Dams Monitoring – An Integrated Systems Approach, brought up the link between recent accidents in tailings dam structures, their associated complexities, and the demand for robust critical monitoring solutions for the structures.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The study was followed by a technical and careful analysis of several companies and/or solutions available on the market that aim to support the projects’ challenges and demands, specifically in the context of geotechnical monitoring of tailings dams IntellTech was one of these 100 companies visited. Given the reality of the market, the study concludes that it is increasingly necessary for companies in the Mineral Sector to have an architecture for integrating and consolidating monitoring, data processing, and analysis to extract information relevant to structures angeotechnical developments.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In this context, the SHMS and Geo Inspector Platforms from IntellTech stand out, on which they were designed to implement and to anticipate the concepts presented by the conclusive study by Stratalis. It should be noted that IntellTech Platforms integrate and process large masses of data to their fullest extent, regardless of their technologies and data sources, implementing big data processing mechanisms that allow a systemic and consolidated analysis of all monitored assets especially tailing dams; besides allowing the dynamic construction of Dashboards from the analyzes and methods correlate the extracted data, both in the statistical perspective, as in the geotechnical, geological view, and other disciplines of interest.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀IntellTech Platforms also have numerical methods and predictive models that allow past, present, and future analysis, generating predictions about the expected structural behavior of geotechnical structures, as well as their boundary conditions, which allows to define the best time to perform preventive maintenance, and eventually, make the most assertive decision possible, in the face of possible events of relevance to managers and geotechnicians

It is gratifying for IntellTech to stand
out as one of the most complete solutions
on the market.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It is gratifying for IntellTech to stand out as one of the most complete solutions on the market. This further reinforces the commitment to be at the forefront of technology with disruptive innovation projects, advancing more towards the Digital Mine consolidation, as well as the constant search to improving and optimizing applications to support decisions related to security and structural stability development of the projects of its clients and partners.
